What does Coco Bolo make?+
Coco Bolo Custom Creations is a woman-owned studio in Edmonton, Alberta that makes personalized engraved cutting boards, epoxy charcuterie and cheese serving boards, engraved kitchen knives, and branded corporate gifts — all made to order in Canada.
How much does a personalized cutting board cost?+
Engraved cutting boards start at $95 CAD in maple. Cherry adds $5 and walnut adds $15. Prices depend on the design — see each product page for exact pricing.
What payment methods do you accept?+
You can pay securely by credit or debit card at checkout, or choose Interac e-Transfer. With e-Transfer, your order is held for 72 hours while you send payment to sales@coco-bolo.ca with your order number in the message.
How long does custom engraving take?+
Custom engraving typically takes 2–5 business days from your order date. Shipping within Canada usually takes another 2–7 business days.
Can I see a proof of my engraving before it's made?+
Yes. All personalized orders receive a digital design proof by email for your approval before we start. For a fully custom design, contact us with your idea.
Which wood should I choose — walnut, cherry or maple?+
Walnut is a rich, dark brown with strong engraving contrast. Cherry is a warm reddish wood that deepens with age. Maple is light and bright, so engravings stand out crisply. Every piece of wood has its own grain, so your board may be slightly lighter or darker than the photos.
How big are the engraved cutting boards?+
Our engraved cutting boards are 10.5 x 16 x 0.75 inches, with a curved-end profile and a juice groove.
What areas do you serve?+
We ship across Canada and offer free local pickup in Edmonton (Terrace Heights area) and Calgary (Rundle area).
What makes a good personalized wedding or anniversary gift?+
Our most popular wedding and anniversary gifts are cutting boards engraved with the couple's names and wedding date — designs like the Elegant Floral, Floral Ring, Couple Monogram and Mountain Landscape boards.
Do you make housewarming and realtor closing gifts?+
Yes. Our Key Design and House Warming Key boards are made for new homeowners, and many realtors order engraved boards as client closing gifts.
Do you do corporate/bulk orders?+
Yes! We work with realtors, restaurants, caterers and businesses to create branded gift packs with your logo and your clients' names. Request a quote on our Corporate & Bulk Orders page.
How do I care for my cutting board?+
Hand wash only — never soak it or put it in the dishwasher. Re-oil regularly and apply cutting board wax every few months.
What's your return policy?+
Due to the personalized nature of our products, custom engraved items are non-returnable unless defective. Non-personalized items can be returned within 14 days in original condition.
I have a deadline — can you make it in time?+
If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us before ordering. You can also add a 'need it by' date in your cart.
